Returns and refunds

We want you to keep your cap because you like it, not because sending it back is a hassle. If it isn't right, here is how it works.

14 days
You can return any cap within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price.

Condition
Caps must be unworn, unwashed and in their original condition, with the silk lining clean and any tags or packaging included. Because the lining sits directly against hair, we can't accept caps that show signs of wear. Anything that doesn't pass inspection will be returned to you at your cost or, at your request, donated.

How to return
Email info@serosilks.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and the reason for the return. We'll send you the return address and a reference number. Please don't send anything back without one.

Return postage is paid by you, except for faulty or incorrect items. We recommend a tracked service; we can't refund items that don't arrive.

Refunds
Once your cap has been received and inspected, we'll refund the purchase price to your original payment method within 5 business days. Original shipping charges are not refunded. Depending on your bank, the money can take a further 3 to 10 business days to appear.

Exchanges
We don't do direct exchanges. Return the cap for a refund and place a new order for the colour you want; that's faster than waiting for the two to cross.

Faulty or incorrect items
If your cap arrives damaged, faulty or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with a photo. We'll replace it or refund it in full, including shipping, and cover the cost of the return.

International orders
Return postage is paid by you. Import duties and taxes paid at checkout or on delivery are not refundable, as they're collected by your country's customs authority rather than by us.

Your statutory rights
Nothing here limits your legal rights. Customers in the UK and EU have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving it under distance-selling regulations, and a further 14 days to send it back once they've told us.
